iPhone 6 Rumor Mill- new screen size(s), storage and release date.

The rumors surfacing the internet about the next-generation iPhones excite a lot of regular iPhone users and non-users. Because of the introduction of iPhone's bigger display size(s), for me, this is another important milestone in Apple's annual release of new iPhone models.

Rumor 101: It was rumored that the display of the next-gen smartphones of Apple will be bigger than the 4.0" screen of the current iPhone 5/5C/5S. This speculation seems to be true since numerous leaked images of the supposed iPhone 6 mock-up can validate the rumors. The images below are the rumored shell of the iPhone 6.

Rumor 102: The rumored sizes of the next-gen iPhones are 4.7" and 5.5" on which Chinese media dubbed 4.7" iPhone as the iPhone 6 while the 5.5" iPhone will be called iPhone Air. This is what Apple did with the iPads last year, calling the bigger one the iPad Air and the smaller one iPad Mini.

Rumor 103: Apple will ditch the minimun 16GB storage capacity for the next generation iPhones. The minimum storage of iPhone 6 and iPhone Air will start from 32GB up to whopping 128GB.

Rumor 104: The latest rumored announcement date of the iPhone 6 is September 19,2014 and the rumored released date is September 25, 2014.

Rumor 105: Apple currently uses durable and damage resistant Corning Gorilla Glass for its iPhones, but reports have suggested that the company could switch to sapphire crystal for future displays.

Note that the rumors way back last year about iPhone 5 and 5c prior to its official release were pretty accurate. What do you think about these rumors about iPhone 6? Let's wait for the official release of the next-gen iPhones so that by then, we will figure out which of the published rumors meet the actual specs of the new iPhones.
