Best Mathematics Apps for students taking up Engineering and B.S. Math | Part 2 (Khan Academy Calculus App)

This is the second part of the blog I posted about my personal choice of best Mathematics apps for students taking up Engineering and B.S. Math courses.

During my college days, Calculus is one of the hardest subjects that I have ever encountered. Good thing our Calculus instructors were so bright that they were able to explain the principles effectively, so I passed my Calculus subjects and learned so much about it.

Our students of this generation are lucky because there are plenty of apps and online resources that could help them study Calculus even if they're away from their instructors. Add these apps to their books and notes, they can now study anywhere at their most convenient time.

How to install third-party keyboard in iOS 8?

Aside from Apple's Quicktype and iOS 8's ability to display widgets at the notification center, another new iOS 8 feature that I love is its support for third-party custom keyboards. Although Android has this feature for ages already, iOS 8 users can now install third party keyboards on their compatible devices without the need to jailbreak it.

Before you actually try a new keyboard for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you'll need to go through a very easy setup process. Just follow the steps below.

1. Download a keyboard from the App Store

How to hail taxi cab in the Philippines using a mobile app?

When I rode a taxi this morning, I saw this poster placed at the back of the driver's seat.

This poster shows how to use the app called Easy Taxi, a mobile app which offers a convenient way for users to virtually hail a taxi to take them to their destination.

I am just happy to know that such service is already operational here in the Philippines. This taxi-booking/hailing application is very helpful to avoid taxi-related crimes and it can help improve the country's transportation system in general.
